The New York landmark in the Corona Park that looks like a giant globe is 55 years old and was built in 1964.
The fountains around the globe were turned on, and the jets of water can shot up to a height of three to five feet. When the weather is fine and sunny, the fog of the water collides with the refraction of the sun's rays to form a beautiful rainbow for people to watch. Some photographers just sit and watch the changes of the rainbow and make a wish. The fountain provides a good place for people to cool off and children to play with water.
When we shot the “globe”, it was a week before the city was closed down in the early days of the epidemic, a few of our camera friends invited us to photograph the first cherry blossoms blooming in the spring of New York, and so we went to the Corona Park.
The place where the cherry blossoms are blooming is right in front of the huge "globe". One photographer suggested to take a group of a dreamlike "globe" and the “globe” with the blooming cherry blossoms, so I used three exposure ways to combine the cherry blossom and the "globe" together.
Our group of friends have a common wish: we hope the earth that we live on is healthy, peaceful, and beautiful! Overcome the epidemic, eradicate war, poverty, and hunger, so that the earth of human is full of hope and flowers.
